Web & Email Production Manager

As Web & Email Production Manager, you are primarily responsible for leading and executing digital production activities for owned media deliverables (email and websites) for Buffalo Groupe clients, including ongoing management and support post-delivery and post-launch.

You will work with other leaders within our Digital team to interpret our client needs, contribute to website and email marketing plans and strategies, document scopes of work and requirements and use your collective understanding and experience to produce emails, email marketing campaigns, landing pages and microsites that support broader client marketing initiatives.

You will also support the maintenance of long-term email marketing campaigns, including workflows and schedules for marketing automation plans, and support the roll-out and implementation of tools (or enhancements of current tools) needed to execute the production of email marketing. Your responsibilities include similar functions for website maintenance.

You will work primarily under the direction of our VP, Digital Experience.

Responsibilities:

Email:

  • Lead and execute the production of emails (templates and deployments) and email marketing workflows
  • Manage and maintain client email databases
  • Build and test workflows, automations and other technical (platform-specific) production aspects of email campaigns
  • Collaborate with Email Marketing Manager and Account Management leads to ensure proper execution of email marketing requirements for campaigns
  • Work closely with Email Marketing Manager to plan and schedule email production and maintenance workload

Web

  • Contribute to or produce website strategy and requirements documentation, including draft information architectures and high-level functional and technical requirements
  • Support content creation and integration requirements for websites through building content matrices and leading content [source] gathering
  • Provide web production and content management support for client websites, including but not limited to micro-sites, landing page production, and e-commerce product content management
  • Assist the Web Development team with website maintenance (content updates, troubleshooting, QA, list/database updates, etc.)
  • Collaborate with members of the Web Development and Creative teams to ensure proper integration of content for online products

Other:

  • As part of client immersion activities, support and contribute to email and website audits (reviewing / testing email and website platforms, reviewing output from auditing tools, creating documents to define / illustrate recommendations)
  • Document work plans and requirements for project-based work for existing clients (e.g., SEO audit output, website performance improvements)

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contribute to client reporting
  • Attend and contribute to [email] marketing campaign and website ideation sessions
  • Assist with email marketing and website strategy / plan development
  • Assist with presenting and explaining information and ideas to team leads
  • Complete projects according to approved timelines, scope, and client specifications.
  • Contribute knowledge and share experiences with fellow team members.
  • Perform as a role model, exhibiting professional level performance, work results, and demeanor.
  • Keep abreast of and regularly share best practices in all areas of digital marketing

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4-5 years of professional experience in email marketing
  • Demonstrated understanding of email marketing platforms and best practices
  • Experience working with email production / delivery tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact)
  • Experience working with CRM platforms and marketing automation techniques (workflows, dynamic content, etc.) and website/app integrations
  • Demonstrated understanding of website production best practices
  • General knowledge and/or experience with website content management and e-commerce platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify)
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • High degree of ownership for projects with strong follow through while managing multiple projects
  • Responsible and self-directed

Salary range: $65,000 - $75,000
